Through a combination of yoga approaches including traditional Indian Hatha yoga and Japanese 'Shin-shin-toitsu-do' (mind-body unification), we explore key poses and flows that focus mental awareness and help release tension in the body. Places are limited to 6, and yogis of all styles and experience are welcome.
This gentle class is a great way for expectant mothers (from 12 weeks) to prepare for the big day. We explore a range of mindful movements and postures that bring a sense of calm and confidence to both body and mind. With a focus on turning your attentions inwards, zen yoga offers gentle strengthening and stretching techniques, and an opportunity to relax and recharge.
This short session is suitable for all levels of meditation experience. Each week the group decides whether to meditate in silence or with guidance, and weather permitting, the practice can take place down by the River Mole.

This 6-week course introduces you to the theory and practice of the East Asian practice of mindful movement - an ideal foundation course for beginning your journey into Zen yoga. We will explore a variety of movements, postures, partner work, breathing practices, and also introduce the practices of Zen meditation and mindfulness.
